Shaws began life as a butchers shop in the Borders town of Lauder, which was a finialist in the search for Britain's Best Butcher 2008. The business was founded in 1828 and has been passed down through generations of the Shaws and subsequently the Deans families.
We have always stuck true to our roots; procuring the best possible produce which we then skillfully butcher to offer our customers the best quality products.

Sirloin roasts make the perfect roast for sunday supper or dinner parties. We trim each roast of excess fat to ensure easy carving. A good covering of fat and marbling give exceptional flavour and dry aging for a minimum of 35 days ensures the upmost tenderness and concentration of flavours. A great roast which strikes a great balance between flavour and tenderness. Our beef is sourced from prime grass fed cattle from trusted local farms in the Scottish Borders. Sirloin roasts are available in the following sizes; 0.5kg (serves 2), 1kg (serves 4), 2kg (serves 8), 3kg (serves 12), 4kg (serves 16).
